Hello! My name is Morgan and I’m a graphic and merch designer from Brisbane, Australia. My work draws inspiration from music and media – I love designing music posters and apparel and sharing them on social media. I’m passionate about sharing my work with other graphic designers and people who love music and media. I also get inspiration from other designers’ work! One of my biggest inspirations is Kel Lauren, a merch designer who liked one of my Instagram posts once.
My design Instagram ties into one of my values, and something I think the design industry really needs – openness. There’s a lot of gatekeeping in design, which is why I like to share my work and process with others. One of the posters I designed had people asking if they could buy it, so I made it free to download and made alternate versions based on what people wanted to see. I like sharing my work and making people things, as I find joy in sharing interests, helping others, and making people happy. My goal is to make friendly design – fun, welcoming, and accessible. My aim as a merch designer is to connect with people through designing for the media they love, and to enable people to share what they love through the merch they own.
